I wanted to have a whole bunch of flowers on my card and so I did.
I love making them so much and Cheery Lynn Designs has the most amazing flower dies ever.
I think my card looks kind off romantic too and my husband said "it looks more like a Christmas card honey".

In Love with Imaginarium Designs

Good morning everyone,
It's getting colder and colder here in The Netherlands I love the cosy part of wintertime.
Peaceful snow (without rain though), lightning candles, hot chocolate, playing board/card games.....
It makes me realise how lucky I am with my hubby and son.
Today I want to tell you a little story about love.

My grandfather was born in Solo Indonesia he met my grandmother in Amsterdam they fell in love.
My mom was born in Amsterdam but when she was just one year old they moved to Indiana (USA) because my grandfather didn't liked the weather in The Netherlands :-)
Then two years later they had a son (Evert) and five years later a daughter (Ellen Jane).
They both where born in the States so my whole family lives there (in Sarasota Florida).
When my mom turned 19 they all went on a vacation to The Netherlands where my mom met my dad and fell in love.
Back in 1999 my mom and dad got divorced after being married for 25 years. If they didn't got divorced they would have been married 40 years in 2014.
They where the cutest couple ever!
My grandfather and grandmother couldn't live with or without each other they where like Archie and Edith from "All in the Family"....my grandfather died in 2003 and my grandmother still lives in Florida and I miss her big time.
So when I heard my sweet cousin Robert who's my aunt Ellen's son just proposed to his girlfriend that got me all smoesy inside....like those little butterflies you know what I mean don't you??
I love lovestories...

This layout I made for them as a present.
I used the fabulous "Vintage Autumn" collection by Maja Designs those papers are so awesome to work with and the Imaginarium Designs pieces go so well with these papers, a match made in heaven.

 So much in love:
Aren't they the cutest couple ever?
I also used some amazing Cheery Lynn Designs dies.
Two pretty doilies, leaves and flowers.
Some close-ups:

The flag banner in the picture above is a new design, and I'm so in love with it.

I inked the chipboard pieces with just a little eggplant coloured ink then I used some pink ink to make it a little lighter. As for the chipboard pieces code:IDDL0018 RRP I used a technique I showed you before.
I also used some amazing flowers by Petaloo.

My Family 8x8 Layout

Hi everybody,
Hope you are all having a happy Saturday!
Today I want to share a layout with you.
I'm really into pasting and misting at the moment....
And I'm loving my Cheery Lynn Designs dies so much I could kiss them all day (lol)
Cheery Lynn Designs has got me thinking outside the box which I really appreciate.
I'm totally hooked on making 8x8 layouts.
So today I have another one to share.

My Family
I adore using the gears so much. This time I left the cut-outs in my gear dies.
For this layout it looked better that way, something else I did different I cut them out of a piece of cardboard! That way they are thicker.
I did a lot of pasting on my layout and some glimmer misting.
The picture is a favourite of mine. I don't own so many old pictures but this one is very dear to me.
It's one of my grandfather (Arthur), my grandmother (Anna), my uncle (Evert) and my mom (Gerla) many year ago. On December 19th my mom turns 60.
My grandfather died in 2003 and my grandmother and uncle live in Florida.
I miss them very much.
now some close-ups:

Happy Saturday,
Today I have a wintery layout to show you which I made with one of BoBunny's new collections.
I wanted to used my new snowflakes dies so badly! I'm very happy how it turned out.
I love wintertime very much do you?
If it snows it gives such a serene peace, I love the sound of snow breaking underneath my boots.
Well what's not to love, maybe the rain part lol.

My boy on a snowy day
I did some mixed media on the background of my paper and if you look closely you see some fake now on my blue flowers.
