Time Creates Wonderful Memories Layout for ***Maja Design*** + Playing at Scrap Around the World

Good morning lovelies,

Today I would like to share a layout I made with the pretty "Vintage Summer" collection. I wanted to go all romantic {the style I normally do}. The picture I used is from one of my sweet Facebook friends Lisa-Marie and her adorable daughter. I saw she did a mother/daughter photo shoot and I fell in love with the dreamy surroundings where they took the shots, so I asked her if I could use one of her pictures. And this is what I came up with: 

Wonderful Memories: 

Most of the flowers are handmade with Noortje Design dies & the cute little roses are also by Noortje Design only not handmade. I love making my own flowers but that is also very time consuming. The fun part of making them yourself is that they always fit with your layouts ;-)

The chipboard pieces are from Imaginarium Designs and they are totally awesome to work with.

Let's have a closer look: 

For some of the flowers I used seamen centers and for the others pearl centers to make them look a little different then the others.

With this layout I will be entering the epic event & second birthday of my sweet friend Helen Tilbury's challenge blog {Scrap Around the World} I miss it to be designing for her but I am very busy she has an amazing DT so it makes it less said

Challenge #5 at ***Studio 75***

Today I would like to show you a tag I have created for challenge #5 at Studio 75

The challenge is to create a tag with at least one mixed media product.

The #1 challenge rules:

- Tag with a minimum of one media product

 - the work must be new

- you can submit up to 3 works, each in a separate post

- if you use products studio75 and you mark it, then we will be glad ;)

May Color Challenge at ***Lindy's Stamp Gang***

Hi you all, 

Are you having a wonderful Saturday?? I am. I don't have to work today so I have a day of which I really adore. Because I can make all my blog posts and create something new. And also enjoying the beautiful sunny weather.

Did you see the first color challenge reveal yesterday at the "Lindy's Stamp Gang" blog ?? I can't believe all the talent there is around the world. Today it's my turn for the reveal, and I like to share a layout with you using this stunning color palette: 

 

Here is my take on this months challenge: 

My husband and I love to go to Sensation White every year it's the one party we will mostly attend.

This year will be the epic event because it's their 15 year anniversary. 

I just can't wait go! But now back to my layout let's have a closer look: 

The base of my layout almost ended up in my trash can I really wasn't satisfied with it at first because I had a other design in my head. But when I placed my picture & flowers I really liked it in the end. 

This is more my free scrap style.

May Mood Board Challenge Layout at *** Maja Design***

Hi everyone, 

I am so excited to show you my layout for this months beautiful, sweet & soft mood board.

It's my first one on this amazing design team "my new family" :-) 

I still can't believe it thank you so much for believing in me.

Let's take a look at the mood board: 

I started this layout by printing the text on some Maja Paper & printing out a picture of my handsome son Kevin. Then I sorted out the papers I wanted to use. Cut out many flowers by Joy {Noortje Design} a Dutch die and more company where I am also designing for. I love making my own flowers but the sad part is that it takes such a long time. 

Let's look at how my layout turned out.

The papers are so darn cute with all the bottles, baby shoes, little elephants.

I luckily found some gorgeous Noortje Design dies matching these lovely papers for one of my next projects. 

Let's have a closer look: 

All the chipboard pieces I used are Imaginarium Designs that I treated with Lindy's Stamp Gang embossing powders, I also used their spray's for the flowers & the rest of my layout.
