Season's Greetings Card for ***Cheery Lynn Designs***

Merry Christmas Everyone,
I want to wish every follower on my blog a wonderful Christmas & a fantastic New year! Enjoy the time spend together with your loved ones.
For today I made a 10 minute Christmas card with non traditional Christmas colors.
I can't believe 2016 is almost coming to an end, me for instance can't wait to start 2017 with all the new adventures on it's way.

Season's Greetings:

I just took out all my doily dies and picked out a golden oldie. The pretty Celtic Fire die I cut this die out of white card stock and placed it on a black background then I made some pink flowers to add on my card. I also added some pink and black treat to make a little bow. And on the Pierced Banners I stuck a word sticker saying to complete my card.

Cheery Lynn Design dies used:

Thank you so much for your time to visit my blog today on this special day! I will gladly see you back in the next year......be careful with the fireworks.

This Day Mixed Media Layout for ***The Dusty Attic***

Goodmorning lovelies,
Today it's me Amy here with you to share a mixed media layout using the gorgeous December mood board as my inspiration! I am a hugh fan of the color purple but I don't use it very often because I think it's a very hard color to scrap but it goes lovely with the colors grey and white.
So on my layout you will find some touches of purple, I really love that quote so I have used that with a picture of hubby and I! Lets'take a look at the December mood board:

This Day:
I started with a sheet of the pretty "Cotton Candy" collection by 7 Dots Studio that I primed with clear gesso. Then I used a couple of Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays, background stamps, art stones large/tiny and past to compliment my layout. I see myself as a starter creating these kind of layouts because for me it feels a layout is done when I stitched on it in any way so this way it feels unfinished! Is that something I only think?? Or do you have the same thing with something you didn't add on your works??

The beautiful chipboard pieces are gessod with black gesso accept for the two corner pieces those are primed with white gesso and later on I used some dark purple Lindy's powder on them. I had so much fun creating this layout and let me tell you I had trouble cleaning my hands to get to work at my day job hihi got to love that!

Lately I am hooked on using straws {don't know where that comes from it must be a phase I am going through} Do you ever use them??? The flowers on my layout are by several companies and I added some purple mica powder and white gesso on top of them to give them some sparkle.
At the end I added some diamond gems and two metal hearts.

The Dusty Attic products used:
Chipboard Pieces:

DA1442 - Love Heart Corners
DA1185 - String Frames Small
DA1405 - Doodads #8
DA0405 - Mini Chains 10pk
DA1597 - Hashtag Sayings #2
 Other Dusty Attic products used:
DA1218 - Dusty Attic Texture Paste

Are you playing with us to this month???
If so I can't wait to see your mood board inspiration you could win a $100 Dusty Attic voucher for your entry awesome right??? Thank you so much for visiting my blog today and I want to wish you a Merry Christmas!

Tranquility Layout for ***Maja Design*** + Playing at Lindy's Stamp Gang

Hi lovely friends,
I can't believe 2016 is almost over but 2017 is going to be a wonderful scrappy year for me as well....if you want to know more you could visit my blog and see. For today's post I used the pretty new "I Wish"collection and made a layout with a winter touch and picture of our handsome boy way back in time. As much as I love making winter projects layout's, cards and such I don't like the cold at all and always wonder how it would be if I was born in a warm country. I find snow very peaceful although I dislike the mess it makes when melting.....for this layout I took out my favorite Martha Steward around the corner punch and lifted the corners so that the middle part didn't look so high!

Tranquility:
What I really do like about Maja Design papers are the extra borders you get on each sheet....on this layout I used two of them to accent my layout! They are a great pieces of extra to compliment your work. On the background sheet I added some paste, spray, snow and stamps also all the chippies are by Dusty Attic which are treated with paint, embossing powder and snow. The edges of my layout are of course distressed and stitched.

Lately I am hoarding straws {kind of a new fetish for me lol} I love to use them on my layout. Did you ever use straws?? If so I would love to see your work or maybe you could enter this months challenge.....I really love this months mood board. I just love the fact that you could win a whole collection of your choice awesome right?

Maja Design papers used I wish: I wish to build a snowman, I wish you a Happy Holiday bs, I wish to play in the snow from the 6x6 paper pad, I wish for a holly jolly Christmas bs and I wish you lots of love and happiness bs.
With this layout I am entering this months challenge at the "Lindy's Stamp Gang" blog it's such a beautiful color combination just have a look here:
Lindy's Stamp Gang products used:
Spray's
Twinkling Tinsel- my favorite spray
{so sad it's not in the collection anymore}

Embossing powders

Thanks for being here today I sure hope I inspired you today to do some crafting during the weekend. Hubby and I are going to enjoy our little get away this Saturday! We won two tickets for Nick & Simon {two dutch singers} yeahhh. Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

Hello Sweet Baby Boy Card for ***Cheery Lynn Designs***

Goodmorning lovelies,
Oh I can't believe 2016 is almost over can you? The years are flying by so fast sometimes I wish I had a time machine hihihi.....It's almost Christmas and all of the design team members at Cheery Lynn Designs are making beautiful Christmas cards and me well I tried one or two before but I am not such a fan....so for today I made a baby boy card with that awesome new rattle shaker die as I said before I am hooked on the shaker dies.

Hello Sweet Baby Boy:
For my card I used the pretty "Vintage Baby" collection by Maja Design as you probably know I am hooked on their collections. This card exists out of five layers and the flowers are from another Maja Design collection.
In the rattle shaker I added the sweet shaker pieces plus some glass glitter and some glass beads. The center of the middle flower is made out of glass beads and the other flower centers are metal pieces by Prima Marketing.
I have to say that the Kiwi Doily looks awesome on any baby projects and I used my Dream Catcher die for another purpose the feathers attached to it look wonderful in flower clusters. The cute little metal tags on my card are by Tim Holtz. Maybe we could have them as dies too going to ask Cheery Lynn Designs that would be amazing right???
If you love the Cheery Lynn Designs dies I used, you could always enter the bi-weekly challenge at the Cheery Lynn Designs blog to win a $20 shopping spree.
This time it's challenge #244 "Red and Green Theme"
I can't wait to see your work!
I always enjoy looking at your works have a great week everyone.

Hello Card for ***Cheery Lynn Designs***

Goodmorning lovelies,
Today it's my turn again on this lovely blog and this time I would like to share another card with you  all! The flowers on my card are really easy but really time consuming because you have to cut out at least 20 flower peddles from the B187 - Build a Flower #2 but they give such a great effect on your card. You can make them as large as you wish you only have to cute out more flowers peddles to do so.

Hello:
I cut out the flower peddles out of mulberry papers and colored them with some Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays this time I chose a darker purple and a bright pink one. I wish I had more mulberry or mixed media papers then I would have been making flowers all day long because it's so much fun.

I think I am kind off hooked on that gorgeous B465 - Double Scalloped Border hehe it's such a great addition to your work! For my card I used the pretty "Vintage Autumn Basics" collection by Maja Design
I hope you enjoyed my post and I have inspired you to use your Cheery Lynn Designs dies. If you love the Cheery Lynn Designs dies I used, you could always enter our bi-weekly challenge to win a $20 shopping spree.
This time it's challenge #243 "Sparkle & Shine Theme" I can't wait to see your work! I always enjoy looking at your works have a great week everyone.
