Smile Card for ***Cheery Lynn Designs***

Goodmorning everyone,
Don't you just love the word dies by Cheery Lynn Designs well this one makes me smile from ear to ear. While I am writing this post it's poring with rain and snow {luckily the melting one} why is the warmer weather still not here I wonder. Today I want to show you a happy spring card with some new dies I got just last week.
For this card I used "Vintage Spring Basics" by who else then Maja Design.

Smile:

As you see it's out of many layers again and lots of distressing {but I didn't us my sewing machine this time}. Purple is my most favorite color to scrap if it's card, layouts or altered projects I love to hear in a comment {here or on the Cheery Lynn Designs blog} which color is your favorite to scrap and then I will have surprise for one or maybe two of you ;-)

Underneath the CAFR-23 - Square Frames {set of 3} I used some cheesecloth to give it more of a shabby chic feeling I think the B338 - Black Eyed Susan Strip is one of my favorite flowers to make because it's such a fun and easy one with a lot of volume.
They really stand out one you projects!

Fabulous Summer 8x8 Layout for ***Cheery Lynn Designs***

Good morning lovelies.
Don't you just love the North America collection at Cheery Lynn Designs and did you already hop with us? I for sure had fun with the "Florida"die! But that's not all, there is a wonderful new release coming up in May too.
I am so excited for it and I can't wait to show you my work.
Today I'd like to share a 8x8 layout I made with the "Vintage Summer Basics" collection by Maja Design and this time I went for the earth colors & blue.

Fabulous Summer:
The picture I used is one of my beautiful nieces Jamie who was born in Florida but now she moved somewhere else in the States. Don't you just love that sea?  It's so pretty it makes me long for summer even more. On the base of my layout I painted with some white gesso and then I added some paste with a stencil of dots by Finnabair. On those dots I added some pretty star dust stickles to make it shine a bit.  I also did that with the text.

The first time I was on this amazing design team I got the B394 - Ships Anchor & the B395 - Ships Compass as a new release and I thought well I need to use them again that's why I ordered the B279 - Sand Dollar & Starfish & the B267 - Seahorse Family to have more of those kind of dies.

For this blog hop I created a 8x8 layout with the state my family lives in "Florida" {Sarasota}. My husband and I went there and took this picture in universal studios. This was even before Kevin was born {our son who is 11 years old now} It's been way to long since I have seen my granny, cousins, uncles and aunts I really need to go there I miss them like crazy.

Florida:
As you see I layered and distressed my work very much for this layout I used the pretty "Salvage District" collection by Prima Marketing with a little blue/green Maja Design touch for the flowers and accents.

To make my flower cluster more appealing I added some diamond gems in the centers and some bling as leaves also I added some shimmer spray on them.

True Love Layout for ***Creative Embellishments*** & ***Tresors de Luxe*** + Playing at Kaisercraft!

Good evening lovelies,
Today I would like to show you a layout I made with some pretty laces and fabric flowers that you can find in the Le Tresors de Luxe store. This layout was based on a sketch normally I just make my own designs but this time I just loved the sketch so much that I had to make it.
I went with the pretty papers by Kaisercraft and I used a bunch of Creative Embellishments chipboard pieces and Prima Marketing flowers that you can also find in the Le Tresors de Luxe store as Lucy also sells other beautiful products.

True Love:
So this layout is based on the sketch at Kaisercraft also you had to add a quote and as that manufacturer has amazing papers with all sorts of quotes on them that was not a hard task at all.
The picture is of hubby and I back in 2012 on our wedding day how does time fly right? We are almost married four years.
This is the sketch that my layout is based on:
KC april 16
Lovely right?

Do you see the pretty lace peaking through underneath my torn papers? It's a real fun way to add them to your layouts this way. Oh and not to mention I just LOVE those fabric flowers so so so much that I can't live without them lol.....

I used different collections by Kaisercraft but mostly the "Provincial" collection.
Thank you so much for visiting my blog today and I would like to thank you for your sweet comments every time! THANK YOU xox

Frozen Layout for ***Creative Embellishments*** April Challenge + Playing at Lindy's Stamp Gang!

Hello lovelies,
Oh boy where did March go? I just can't believe it's April already....sadly I was not chosen to be among the top 30 finalist at Graphic 45 but I will not give up that easy hehehe! One day maybe, but for now it will remain a dream {which is also something to look forward too right?}
Today I would like to show you a layout I made for the Monthly Challenge at "Creative Embellishments" this mood board totally got me inspired!
One of my first design teams I was on had to do with music {Scrap it with a Song} so this was not hard at all just take a look at the mood board.
lyrical_color_collage_music_cool_abstract_hd-wallpaper-594031
I was planing to make a layout with a black background for a long time now and I finally got to do it!
I am a hugh fan of "Within Temptation" I even went to a concert {that is a big deal for me because we don't do that often which is very sad I think} So I picked a title of one of my favorite songs of them "Frozen"! What inspired me on this board were the colors black, orange/yellow, pink, purple and the music notes so that is how I made my layout.

Frozen:
I also took a piece out of the lyrics in that wonderful song!
Tell me I'm frozen
What can I do?
Can't tell the reasons
I did it for you.
This was a really fum page to make and I think I am kind of hooked now working with a black background so you will see more of them in the future. Let's have a closer look:

The flowers are from a online store and came from somewhere in china they are really bright colored and I just soften them up with gesso, spray and snow. For the background I used a stencil, paste, stamp and spray.

If you don't know the song you could listen below:
Thank you so much for your visit and I can't wait to see your creations on the "Creative Embellishments"blog I sure hope you will play along this month.
Have a lovely and creative day!

When I looked at the blog of Lindy's Stamp Gang  I saw these amazing bright colors which where totally similar to the colors I used! How "fun" is that, they have a yummy color challenge this month. It was destined to be this way I guess...look at these colors oh wow.

Spray's
Frenchy's Pink Pouf
